Crazy Evening Rush: Multiple Crashes, Hit-and-Run Drivers

Palatine police received a report about 7:23 p.m. Tuesday of a property damage crash at Northwest Highway and First Bank drive.

A property damage crash was report about 5:50 pm. at Biesterfield and Rohlwing Road in Elk Grove Village.

A property damage crash was reported to Palatine police and firefighter/paramedics about 5:44 p.m. at Northwest Highway and Rohlwing Road. A Palatine rescue ambulance on another call, and transporting a patient to Northwest Community Hospital, came across the crash before assigned units arrived and reported the crash was a personal injury crash with serious injuries (See more at The Cardinal Personal Injury Crash: Minivan and Sedan at Northwest Highway and Rohlwing Rd, Palatine).

A property damage hit-and-run crash was reported on Route 83 near Foster Avenue in Bensenville. A black chevrolet with blue transfer was last seen heading north on Route 83. Bensenville police were checking license plate registration.

A property damage crash was reported about 5:37 p.m. Tuesday at the Walgreens, 375 East Dundee Road in Palatine.

Palatine police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 5:19 p.m. Tuesday to a report of an injury crash at Northwest Highway and Sterling. Police first on the scene reported one person injured.

Arlington Heights police also responded about 4:51 p.m. Tuesday to a hit-and-run crash in the 1600 block of Chesterfield. A white Mitsubishi Gallant was hit.

Arlington Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 4:49 p.m. Tuesday to a three-car crash on northbound Arlington Heights Road, just south of Euclid Avenue.

About 4:46 p.m. there was a report of a crash in the westbound lanes of Dundee Road, east of Arlington Heights Road — crash with no injuries for Buffalo Grove police.

Lake County Sheriff’s police received a report of a hit-and-run crash at Lake Cook Road and Route 53 about 4:55 p.m. Tuesday. Police were looking for a black Nissan with license plates (Illinois N 830 780). The vehicle was previously reported stolen. The vehicle has front end damage, and was driven by a female/white subject.
