Vehicle Burglary Near Oakton St. and Wilke Rd. Followed By Illegal Use of Stolen Credit Card


Arlington Heights police received a report of a vehicle burglary that involved the theft of a wallet and credit cards and debit cards, in which one of the credit cards was used illegally in Arlington Heights and Schaumburg. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders entered the unlocked black 2007 Honda Odyssey van and removed a black Brighton wallet left partially under the front seat. The wallet contained several debit/credit cards, I.D.s, personal information and insurance cards. One of the credit cards was illegally used at two gas stations in Arlington Heights and a pizza restaurant in Schaumburg.

The vehicle burglary occurred on Oakton Street near Wilke Roadd. The Honda Odyssey was parked eastbound on Oakton Street.

The vehicle burglary crime is reported to have occurred on Saturday, March 24, 2012 after 12:00 noon. The illegal use of credit card occurred on March 24, 2012 with the times unavailable.
