Buffalo Grove police responded about 10:29 p.m. Monday to a suspicious noise in the 2100 block of Brandywyn Lane that came from the direction of Satinwood Terrace. Buffalo Grove police arrived and discovered in the 300 block of Satinwood Terrace that someone had thrown a potato through a kitchen window and that the potato landed inside the kitchen. Police changed the case to a criminal damage to property incident.
