Pneumonia Front Doesn’t Really Cause Pneumonia, But When Is The Temperature Drop?

#ad▼

30°F Drop Possible in Some Areas Close to Lake Michigan Shore
A “Pneumonia Front’ is expected to hit the lakefront and Chicagoland about 1:00 p.m. today. Temperatures at the lakefront could plunged suddenly from the 70’s through the 50’s and possibly to the 40’s right at the Lake Michigan shoreline. Fog is also forecast near the lake. Weather forecasters are not sure of the extent and intensity of the cold air push for inland areas.

Temperatures are expected to be back in the 70’s on Friday. Yesterday’s high of 81°F broke the previous record for the day, which was 77°F in 1995. Only two dates before March 14 have record temps 80°F or greater — March 3, 1974 (80°F) and March 12, 1990 (81°F).
