Driver Arrested DUI After Crash with Tree at Ridge Ave and Grove St, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police responded about 12:59 a.m. Saturday to a car vs. tree crash near Ridge Avenue and Grove Street. Police received an additional report that two male subjects were standing outside near the car, and that one of the males started walking northbound on Ridge Avenue. No injuries were reported.

Police on the scene arrested the driver for DUI and transported him in custody to Arlington Heights Police Department Headquarters. The driver’s white Ford Taurus was towed to a police holding area.
