Retail Theft Suspect Arrested at Macy’s, Woodfield

Schaumburg police responded about 2:10 p.m. Saturday, February 4, 2012 to a report of a retail theft suspect detained at Macy’s at Woodfield. Police received a report that a woman switched a price tag of a purse worth $118 with the price tag of a purse worth less than $20. The woman then attempted to purchase the more expensive purse with the lower price tag. The suspect was cooperative while detained by store loss prevention personnel.
