Minor Snow Accumulation with Snow and Drizzle This Morning

Snow and drizzle with no accumulation until about 6:30 a.m. Some minor dusting on driveways, sidewalks, roofs and grass. Radar show a counterclockwise spin associated with a Low Pressure system spinning past our area. The trailing edge of precipitation just west of Rockford this morning. Roads are slippery and wet. Zero snow cover in the northwest suburbs.

Today: Rain and snow, mainly before noon. High near 43. Breezy, with a south wind 5 to 10 mph becoming west southwest between 15 and 20 mph. Winds could gust as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.

Tonight: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 32. West southwest wind between 10 and 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.

Wednesday: A 20 percent chance of showers after noon. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 46. West southwest wind between 5 and 10 mph, with gusts as high as 15 mph.
