Morton Grove Fire Called to Rescue Woman for Clothes Stuck in Escalator at LA Fitness on Dempster Rd

Morton Grove firefighter/paramedics responded about 9:27 a.m. Sunday to a report of a woman with clothes “stuck in an elevator door” at LA Fitness, 6821 Dempster Road. Firefighters first on the scene reported a woman had clothes entrapped in an escalator at the second floor. The woman’s clothing was cut to free her from the escalator prior to arrival of emergency responders. Firefighters confirmed that the ambulance was continuing to the scene, and the woman was being treated for possible injuries.
