Car vs. Light Pole Crash at Arlington Heights Rd and Hintz Rd Injures Driver

VIDEO: Car vs. traffic light/light pole at the northeast corner of Arlington Heights Road and Hintz Road.

Arlington Heights police and firefighters/paramedics responded about 10:54 a.m. Saturday to a report of a car vs. pole crash at Arlington Heights Road and Hintz Road. Police received a report that the light pole was through the windshield of the car an that the driver was not moving. Police and firefighter/paramedics on the scene discovered that the pole was still standing, but that traffic signals and street lights had fallen to the ground.

The driver was transported to Northwest Community Hospital.
