House Fire Stopped on Cedar St, Rolling Meadows

Rolling Meadows police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 5:17 p.m. Sunday to a report of smoke in a residence in the 2200 block of Cedar Street. Firefighters arrived to find fire in the residence and called for assistance from Arlington Heights and Palatine firefighters.

Black smoke was coming from the house. The residents were not home at the time of the fire, and no injuries were reported. The fire was extinguished within 15 minutes.
