Fight at Shelter, Inc. House on Golf Rd, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 2:30 p.m. Monday to a report of a fight at a Shelter, Inc. house on Golf Road. Police received a report that two 17-year-old males were fighting, and that objects were being thrown in the house.

Police arrived within three minutes and reported that two subjects were in custody. At least one person was a battery victim. Battery charges were possibly filed against at least one subject — not confirmed.

Arlington Heights Fire Department paramedics also responded to the scene.

Shelter, Inc. provides community based, emergency and longer-term housing for children and adolescents who are abused, neglected, dependent or in need of supervision.
