Buffalo Grove police received a report from a bank official at PNC Bank, 1177 West Lake Cook Road, that a subject was in the process of depositing a check in the amount of $1,150.00. The transaction took longer than usual because of heavy customer volume, and the subject drove off before the transaction was completed. It was determined that the check and the driver’s license were both stolen.

The crime is reported to have occurred on Tuesday, December 20, 2011.
