Police and firefighter/paramedics responded to multiple crashes early Thursday morning.

At 7:57 a.m. Thursday a blue Dodge Durango off the road at Commerce and Plum Grove Road, Schaumburg.

At 7:54 a.m. police reported a car just crashed into the guard rail on Palatine Frontage Road. Three total crashes reported at this location.

At 7:51 a.m. Route 72 and Salem, in Schaumburg crash with air bag deployment.

At about 7:45 a.m. Thursday multiple crashes at Palatine Road frontage near Yale Avenue and near Kennicott Avenue. Palatine Road frontage was shut down between Kennicott Avenue and Thomas Street. Police reporting it was difficult to walk on the road.

At about 6:49 a.m. Thursday, northbound Arlington Heights Road at Whitehall a Jeep Cherokee spun out and damage tires with lane blockage.

At 6:46 p.m. Thursday, a crash at Golf Road and Wilkening. No injuries, but a second crash occurred as the first crashed vehicle was hit as it was being towed away from the intersection.

At about 6:42 a.m. Thursday police reported they discovered a car slid off into the woods near Allgaugher’s.

Three crashes on Milwaukee Avenue near River Road.

Prospect Heighst police shut down Milwaukee Avenue and River Road about 6:36 a.m. Thursday after three crashed reported.

At 6:31 a.m. Thursday Prospect Heights worked on a crash at Milwaukee Avenue and Winkelman.

At 6:22 a.m. Thursday a multi-car crash was reported at eastbound Dundee Rd at Route 53. Firefighters reporting seven cars crashed. Westbound Dundee Road completely blocked.

At 6:20 am. Thursday a crash with injuries on Route 60 east of the Des Plaines River.

At 6:12 a.m. Thursday a crash — no injuries — with a light pole on a vehicle at Northwest Highway and Sterling.

At 6:07 a.m. Thursday a crash with airbag deployment, but no injuries reported at Algonquin Road and Roselle Road. Firefighters reported the crash was at Algonquin Road and Kimberly. Firefighters reported solid ice in the area.

At 5:56 a.m. Thursday Rolling Meadows firefighter/paramedics responded to a two-vehicle crash involving a small SUV and a Jeep. Firefighters arrived and reported no injuries but vehicles on both sides of the northbound lanes.

At 5:42 a.m. Thursday a three-vehicle crash with personal injuries at Northwest Highway and Dundee Road.

At 5:41 a.m. Thursday a crash with a deer on the bridge at Devon and Route 53.

At 5:28 a.m. Thursday a multi-car crash with a an EMS alarm to the second level requested by Des Plaines Fire Department for multiple ambulances at eastbound I-90 at Elmhurst Road. EMS Box first level called at 5:21 a.m. Southbound Elmhurst shutdown at Oakton and northbound Elmhurst shutdown at Touhy.

At 5:27 a.m. Thursday Buffalo Grove police reported a second crash at Route 22 and Heritage with more crashes occurring west of the location.

At 5:21 a.m. Buffalo Grove police were told by a passerby that a car crashed into a tree at Route 22 west of Route 83.

At 5:15 a.m. Buffalo Grove police and firefighter/paramedics responded to Half Day Road west of Acacia for a rollover crash with a woman trapped in her SUV.
