Retail Theft at Burlington Coat Factory on Rand Road, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police responded about 12:24 p.m. Wednesday to a report of a theft in progress at Burlington Coat Factory, 30 West Rand Road. Police received a report that a man took merchandise out of his coat and rip the tags off. He was with a woman who paid for some items, but not all of the items.

The offenders were described as (1) a male/black was wearing a black hat with a white rim, short sleeve knit shirt and jeans; and (2) a female/black with braids and a pink top. both suspects got into a red Kia, but were gone before police arrived.
