The storm that produced the tornado Monday, November 22, 2010 in Caledonia, Illinois continued in a northeasterly direction through Kenosha County and Racine County in Wisconsin.

As of the census of 2000, there were 199 people, 71 households, and 54 families residing in the village of Caledonia. The population density was 373.0 people per square mile. There were 75 housing units at an average density of 140.6/sq mi.
Ironically, a wind farm that would extract energy from the wind and convert it to electricity was rejected July 2007. A judge ruled with Boone County by rejecting a proposed wind farm on unincorporated land. Judge Gerald Grubb ruled that the county justifiably denied a request to construct wind turbines on farm land north of Caledonia and Poplar Grove in Boone County.
