Schaumburg police responded about 2:31 p.m. Saturday of a theft of a cell phone from the “Where You Shop Kiosk” at Woodfield Mall near Lord & Taylor. A male/Hispanic and female/Hispanic approached the kiosk and distracted an employee and walked away with the employee’s cellphone. The suspects were last seen headed toward the middle of the mall. The crime is reported to have occurred about 2:15 p.m. Saturday.
