Two Vehicles Burglarized on North Bloomington Avenue, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police received a report about 1:07 a.m. Saturday, October 15, 2011 of a burglary to vehicle in the 4200 block of North Bloomington Avenue. An unknown offender or offenders a entered a silver 2003 Pontiac Grand Am parked in an apartment parking lot by possibly reaching in through the slightly open driver side front window. The following items were reported missing: Two purses containing IDs, credit/debit cards, drivers’ licenses, make-up, a checkbook and approximately $85 in cash.
The purses were under the front seats.

The crime is reported to have occurred between midnight and 1:00 a.m. on Saturday October 15, 2011.

A second vehicle was also discovered burglarized. An offender or offenders also entered an unlocked 1996 Acura Integra and removed an Apple iPod Mini ($100).

Arlington Heights police are investigating. A Pontiac Gran Am was previously reported burglarized on Thursday October 13, 2011 at about 10:17 a.m. The vehicle burglary was reported to have occurred overnight.
