Theft of Jewelry Accidentally Left on Flower Arrangement at Metropolis Ballroom

Arlington Heights police received a report about that an unknown offender or offenders removed jewelry items that were accidentally left on a flower arrangement after a wedding reception at the Metropolis Ballroom, 6 South Vail Avenue. Both pieces of jewelry are family heirlooms with unknown values.

The jewelry is described as a silver necklace with three rectangular shaped clear stones and one pear shaped clear stone attached to it, as well as a gold colored ring.

The crime is reported to have occurred between Friday October 7, 2011 at 4:30pm and saturday October 8, 2011 at 12:30 am.
