Schaumburg police responded about 7:15 p.m. Saturday to a report of a theft of an iPod and cellphone from a purse at Macy’s in Woodfield. Police received a report that a victim was in the fitting room when an offender or offenders removed a cellphone and Apple iPhone from the victim’s purse. Woodfield Security and searching for one to three suspects.
One of the suspects was described as a female/Hispanic, medium build, black or brown curly hair. Woodfield Security and Schaumburg police were investigating Saturday night. No word on any arrests as of 7:45 p.m. Saturday.
