Residential Burglary in Progress on Spring Ridge Drive

Arlington Heights police responded about 4:15 PM Tuesday to report of a burglary in progress in the 2000 block of Spring Ridge. Police received a report that a witness saw a strange male/white, carrying a backpack, exit the house.

The offender was described as a male/white 5’7″ dark hair, balding, between 30 and 40 years of age, wearing black gloves, a tan jacket and dark pants and carrying a black backpack. The suspect was also seen talking on a cell phone as he left the residence. The suspect was last seen walking northbound on Bloomington from Nichols.

Police confirmed that there was a burglary at the residence and requested an evidence technician to respond to the scene.
