Buffalo Grove police received a report about 4:57 p.m. Wednesday of a theft that just occurred at Dominick’s, 770 South Buffalo Grove Road. Store personnel had one suspect in custody. One of the fleeing suspects was reported to be wearing a red hooded sweatshirt and a red baseball cap. A third subject was wearing a black shirt. When police arrived they reported two subjects were fleeing eastbound, just east of the CVS.
Police received a report that suspects ran northwest and hopped a fence northwestbound into Wheeling. Police apprehended the subject with the black shirt behind 791 South Buffalo Grove Road.
Police were searching the area, including Wheeling in the Arlington Club neighborhood.
