Elk Grove police received several reports of vehicle burglaries starting just after midnight and through Sunday afternoon. Elk Grove Village police first received a report of a vehicle burglary about 12:06 a.m. Sunday in the 1000 block of Charlela Lane. A witness reported he saw a white Dodge burglarized and saw subjects flee in a black Nissan Maxima.
Several more residents in the apartment complex reported their vehicles were burglarized in the parking lot overnight.
