Man with a Knife Confronts Woman As She Arrived Home on Palazzo Dr, Buffalo Grove

Buffalo Grove police responded about 8:48 p.m. Sunday to a report of a man with a knife in the 2400 block of Palazzo Drive. Police received a report that a woman arrived home and a man approached her displaying a knife and demanding her wallet. He did not get the wallet.

The offender was described as a male/white, over 6′ with a very thin build, wearing a gray hoodie with only his eyes showing, dark pants. The knife he displayed was reported to be about six or seven inches long, and was removed from a right-side pants pocket before it was displayed.

An evidence technician responded to the scene.

No word on any police contact with the offender. He was last seen headed toward a park from the crime scene.
