Hit-and-Run Personal Injury Crash on Palatine Rd, Just West of Milwaukee

Prospect Heights police and firefighter/paramedics and Wheeling firefighter/paramedics responded about 5:45 a.m. Wednesday to a hit-and-run crash with personal injury on the express lanes of Palatine Road, just west of Milwaukee Avenue. Police received a report of a car in a ditch with entrapment. Firefighters arrived and held up the pin-in response and reported minor injuries.

At least one person was transported to Glenbrook Hospital.

Police were looking for a dark-colored SUV with front passenger-side damage.
