Car vs. Pedestrian at Walmart Parking Lot, Meacham, Elk Grove Village

Elk Grove police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 1:59 p.m. Monday to a report that a female employee was hit by a car in the parking lot of Walmart, 801 Meacham Road. Paramedics first on the scene were working with a “primary patient” who had possible serious injuries from the incident, and called for an additional ambulance for two other victims with lesser injuries.

At least two people were transported to an area hospital(s).

Elk Grove Village police were investigating the accident at the scene, and were also checking security cameras around the time of the crash.
