Police Dashcam: Bystanders and police officers lift a car up to rescue a small child pinned underneath.

A six-year-old boy, Dominic DeRoberts became wedged under a Pontiac G6, minutes after he got out of his Grandfather’s car in front of Verde Elementary School in Boca Raton, Florida about 8:00 a.m. Wednesday.

Instead of heading for classes, the boy became trapped between the bottom of the engine compartment and the left, front wheel. Minutes later he was rescued by police and bystanders.

Boca Raton police officers Michael Daly and Bruce Sonnenblick, Community Service Officer Ernest Bucinskas, and at least two bystanders lifted the front of the car off of the boy.

The boy suffered with a punctured lung, a detached ear (which was surgically re-attached), and road rash.
