Morton Grove firefighters and police responded about 4:20 p.m. Tuesday to a townhouse fire in the 8500 block of Fernald Avenue. Firefighters reported a working fire on the second floor, and called for two additional ambulances to the first due ambulance.
Fire command reported the fire was extinguished at about 4:40 p.m. Ambulances are possibly due for minor injuries and standby and rehab.
Some residents were displaced from the building.
