Thunderstorms Passing Through Monday Afternoon and Evening

Expect thunderstorms to pass Chicagoland the next couple of hours. Radar indicates storms passing to the north in McHenry County and Lake County, and to the south in Will County with dissipation in the middle in the northwest Cook County and northern DuPage County. Expect some type thunderstorm activity in the entire Chicagoland area between now and about 8:00 p.m. Monday.

The strongest storms are expected south of Interstate 80.
