Mount Prospect police alerted area police departments of a theft of cash from the Sprint store, 905 East Rand Road in Mount Prospect between 8:45 p.m. and 8:55 p.m. Wednesday. The offenders fled in a green Cadillac — last seen northbound on Rand Road. The offenders were described as two male/blacks and a female/black. One male/black was described as 5’10” about 22-years-old, the description on the second male/black was not available at the time of the broadcast, and the female/black was reported to be about 30-years-old. No clothing descriptions were available at the time of the broadcast.
Two subjects distracted the store clerk while the third subject removed cash from the cash register.
