Police Search for Man in Deer Grove Forest Preserve Near Dundee and Pendleton

Cook County Sheriff’s police reported that a man fled into the Deer Grove Forest Preserve about 9:15 p.m. Monday. Police reported a man left his keys in the ignition of a vehicle after he parked near Dundee and Pendleton, and ran into the forest preserve. It is unknown if Cook County Sheriff police were chasing the man, or if they just witnessed the incident. Palatine police were called in to assisted, and determined that the incident is possibly their jurisdiction.
