Crash at Lake Cook and Route 53 — on Route 53, north of Menards. One-car crash handled by Long Grove Fire Protection District.

Lightning strike 3100 block of Old McHenry, Long Grove, possible fire from lightning strike. Long Grove Fire Protection District, Buffalo Grove Fire Department responded.
