Burglary to Residence on East Palatine Road

Arlignton Heights police received a report about 4:35 p.m. Wednesday of a burglary to residence in the 2200 Block of E. Palatine Road. Police received a report that residents just came home and found the home ransacked.

A unknown offender or offenders cut the screen and forced open the double hung kitchen window. They searched three bedrooms and an office. Drawers were pulled open or pulled out and left on the floor. A metal cash box and numerous pieces of jewelry were spread out on the master bed. At this time it is unknown exactly what was removed.

The crime is report to have occurred between Wednesday, June 8th, 2011 between 12:15pm and 4:25pm.
