3 Arrested at Best Buy After Fraudulent Activity with Credit Card Reported

One of three female subjects in custody at Best Buy after a report of the use of stolen credit card was suspected, and possible other fraudulent activity was investigated.

Arlington Heights police responded about 4:00 p.m. Sunday to a report of fraudulent activity with a credit card and gift cards at Best Buy, 615 East Palatine Road.

Police received a report that a female subject was attempting to purchase gift cards with a stolen credit card. All the subjects were described as female/black suspects — at least one was described as “in her 30’s.”

One female walked to the Burger King east of Best Buy. At least three female subjects were arrested and in custody by 4:20 p.m. A fourth suspect was also possibly involved, but this is not confirmed.

Police transported at least three suspects in custody — and possibly a fourth (not confirmed).
