Police received a report that a female slashed some tires during the disturbance and got into a dark or black Honda Civic or Acura and drove away toward Arlington Heights Road.

The offender was described as a female/white with dark hair, approximately 20-years-old, wearing a black T-shirt and blue jeans. The woman was reported to be in possession of a two or three-inch switch blade, which was used to slash the tires.

An alert officer spotted the suspect near Dryden and Rand and stopped the vehicle the Crest Furniture parking lot nearby.

Police with the help of witnesses were able to identify the suspect as the same woman who slashed the tires near the Stonebridge Apartments.

The woman was arrested and transported in custody to Arlington Heights Police Department Headquarters. Her black black Acura CL was towed to a police holding area.
