3-on-1 Battery: Man Follows Teens Throwing Water Balloons at Cars Euclid & Walnut

Arlington Heights police responded about 12:40 p.m. Saturday to a report of a battery in progress near Euclid Avenue and Walnut Avenue. Police received a report that a woman’s husband was following three teens that were throwing water balloons at cars, when the three teens started to ‘beat him up’. The victim refused an ambulance.

Police were able to catch up to the three teens near Euclid Avenue and Chestnut Avenue on the south side of Euclid Avenue. At least one teen was transported in — possibly in custody — to Arlington Heights Police Department Headquarters.
