Several Recyling Bins/Cans Damaged on North Haddow, Douglas Hit-and-Run

Arlington Heights police received a report about 2:45 p.m. Friday that two Groot recycling bins/cans were damaged by a hit-and-run vehicle in the 900 block of North Haddow Avenue.

Police also received a second report about 2:50 p.m. Friday that a male driver in a dark green minivan struck recycling cans on Douglas and was last seen heading toward Oakton Street.

Police were also on the lookout for a dark, smaller SUV that struck ‘garbage cans’ near Haddow and Frederick. The vehicle was last seen heading eastbound on Frederick from Haddow Avenue.

Police also received a report about 4:15 p.m. Friday that a driver of a blue minivan was observed driving on the property of Greens Park and damaging the grounds of the park district. The offending vehicle was described as a blue minivan.
