Arlington Heights police responded about 4:15 PM Monday to a report of a possible ruse/scam in the 500 block of West Miner. Police received a report of a suspicious person that came to the door of an apartment saying he was working for the Village of Arlington Heights and that he needed to check for leaks. He also asked for money. Arlington Heights police are investigating.
