Battery to a Police Officer on Kennicott Avenue During Investigation of Another Battery

Arlington Heights police responded about 4:30 p.m. Sunday to a report of a battery that occurred earlier in the day. A man was walking to the store near the 2400 block of North Kennicott when he got into an argument with a man that was apparently intoxicated.

Police arrived on the scene and arrested one male adult. The male was belligerent and attempted to kick the windows out of the police car. He also threatened to spit in the face of the officers. He was transported in custody to Arlington Heights Police Department Headquarters.
