Announced today, AVOS is acquiring the popular web page bookmarking website Delicious.com. The website allows users to collect website bookmarks from any computer or mobile device and also view the collection from any computer or mobile device, such as Apple’s iPhone or an Android operating system device.

AVOS is a new Internet company, led by the founders of YouTube, Chad Hurley and Steve Chen. AVOS is located in San Mateo, California.

The new company is reported to be planning to enhance the bookmarking service by making it easier and faster to use.
