Arlington Heights police responded about 3:05 PM Friday to a report of suspicious vehicle with occupants in the 1900 block of East Jonquil Terrace. Police received a report that a male/Hispanic parked his white pickup truck on a female’s driveway while she was in her garage. The woman reported the subject got out of his pickup truck and walked up to the woman and hugged her. He then followed her into her house while asking her if she wanted work done on her driveway.
When the woman asked the man for his telephone number, he turned around and left.
The incident was reported to have occurred about 2:35 p.m. Arlington Heights police are investigating. No word on any arrest or police contact with the offender.
