HazMat in Elk Grove Business Near Elmhurst and Coyle Avenue

Elk Grove Village Fire Department responded about 10:50 a.m. Sunday to a report of a tank leaking in the 2700 block of Coyle Avenue. Firefighters arrived to find a large tank undergoing some type of pressure release from a relief valve. The tank was possibly a liquid oxygen tank. Coyle Avenue was blocked in the area.

The leak stopped or diminished at about 11:05 a.m. Sunday.
