ONE STOW, OHIO POLICE CRUISER TOTALED, TWO DAMAGED
Stow police (Ohio) pursued a stolen dump truck for over 50 miles Saturday while officers dodged bricks hurled from its window by the driver.
A Stow, Ohio police cruiser dashcam video shows the truck striking police cars and several civilian vehicles during the chase through parts of three northeast Ohio counties. One officer’s police cruiser was hit when the truck was deliberately driven in reverse to hit the squad car.
Stow police charged a 17-year-old suspect with multiple juvenile court charges including felonious assault with a weapon — a dump truck.
The pursuit began after the truck was reported stolen in Stow, about 25 miles southeast of Cleveland.
