Authorities have launched an investigation into an oil pipeline blast that burned swaths of a Mexican town Sunday. Families were burying their dead Monday. At least 28 people were killed and 52 injured. Twelve of those killed were children. Oil spilled onto several streets and caused a ‘river of fire.’

The fire is under investigation. A fuel theft gone wrong is the suspected cause of the fire.
