Arlington Heights police responded about 7:35 AM Monday in the 200 block of West Rand Road. Police received a report that an employee opening the the Salvation Army Store discovered the cash register broken and money on the ground.
Police checked the store for offenders and noticed two back doors open. It is unknown if the doors were not secured or if the offenders fled out the back doors and left them open.
Arlington Heights police are investigating. An evidence technician was on the scene.
