Man Falls, Rescued at Construction Site at New City Limits Harley-Davidson Construction Site

Palatine police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 10:50 AM Monday to a report of a man that fell at a construction site at the new City Limits Harley-Davidson construction site, 2009 North Rand Road. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report that a man fell into a basement at a construction site of a new commercial building.

Firefighter/paramedics rescued the victim out of the basement after immobilization precautions and treatment at about 11:20 a.m.

Firefighter/paramedics had to get into the basement using a ladder, place the man in a Stokes basket, and raise the basket through an opening that already existed in the floor.

No information available on the destination hospital.
