Man Answers Apartment Door and Gets Punched in the Face, One Male Arrested

Arlington Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 3:45 PM Monday to a report of a battery in the 300 block of North Kasper Avenue. Arlington Heights police received a report that a man answered the door at his apartment and was punched in the face. The offender was described as a male/white, possibly Eastern European, about 40-years-old wearing a Chicago White Sox baseball cap.

Police caught up with him near Ridge Avenue and Eastman Street.

One adult male was transported in custody to Arlington Heights Police Department Headquarters. One victim was transported to Northwest Community Hospital.
