Arlington Heights police responded about 9:10 PM Thursday to a family fight in progress in the 400 block of East Circle Drive. Police responded to a report that one brother was beating up another brother. Police arrived to learn that one of the brothers was armed with knives. A foot pursuit for a subject began as soon as police arrived. The subject of the foot pursuit was in custody within a minute in the back of the 300 block of Circle Hill.
One male was arrested and transported in custody to Arlington Heights police headquarters.
