Arlington Heights police responded about 6:00 PM Sunday to a report of a battery to a nurse committed by a patient at Northwest Community Hospital, 800 West Central Road. Police received a report that a nurse was struck by a patient as the patient was being discharged from Northwest Community Hospital. The crime is reported to have occurred about 5:45 p.m. The suspect had left the scene prior to the report to the police.
Arlington Heights police are investigating.
