Coral Springs police initiated a traffic stop just before noon Wednesday that turned into a high-speed pursuit from Broward County to Hialeah in Miami-Dade County. A white, four-door Toyota Camry was spotted driving around a neighborhood in Coral Springs where several robberies had been reported recently.

The car with at least four occupants failed to stop and a pursuit began to southbound I-75. Several other police agencies joined the pursuit when the offending driver hit two Broward Sheriff’s Office police squads and a bus. The Camry exited I-75 in Hialeah, Florida. A one point the car jumped the curb and a passenger door opened with observers expecting a bailout of a passenger, but the vehicle sped up and returned to a side street.

A PIT maneuver was used which caused the Camry to spin around backwards and hit a parked car at E. 8th Avenue and 65th Street. A tall black male passenger jumped out of the car and began running, but was tasered and arrested. At least three others were pulled out of the car — one by the heels was dragged to the parkway.

A puff of smoke — not seen in the video in this article, but in another helicopter view — was seen coming out of the parked car. That driver was also pulled out of his car. The puff of smoke was caused by air bag deployment.
