Arlington Heights police and firefighters responded about noon Sunday to a report of downed power lines along Arlington Heights Road just north of Hintz Road.
Firefighters discovered two downed primary lines down along the east sidewalk of Arlington Heights Road.
Two primary power lines were also down in the field behind the Chicago Futubakai Japanese School.
Stoplights were out along Arlington Heights Road at Dundee, Old Arlington Heights Road, Hintz, and St. Edna’s crosswalk.
ComEd was on the scene within minutes working to restore power.
